What you put into your mind is so, so very important. We are used to hearing about what we put into our bodies, but what about our minds? Your mind is where everything in your life starts. And, I mean, Everything. If you want to help, change or ____ for yourself, start with your mind. Now, I am not saying, by any means, stop taking physical action or quit doing the things that are good for you because you're going to 'think it' instead. I mean, get your mind right. Think thoughts that support what you want to achieve. And, for this exercise, start paying attention to what you put into your mind or what you're not. Yay! It's about reading! Ack! So good for you! And, such a nice get away and used correctly, what a wonderful escape!
It's Journal Time!
If you don't already have one... Get a Journal! You're going to need it for all your exercises. So Fun! I included one below because I think it's a great I Love Reading journal. What do you need in your life now?
Really, sit and think about what you'd like to have in your life [that reading can do for you].
Here's a just few ideas:
Creativity (New ideas!)
Recipes (New foods! Yum!)
Travel (Oooo... Where?!!)
Learning (anything you want to learn)
and on and on... The list could go on forever. How fun is that?!!
~After
you make your list, start adding to it with different types of books
that can fulfill those needs. This is not an exercise to run from your
life, it's an exercise to enhance it. Plus, reading is good for you!
Woo-Hoo! Yay You! And, now you need a book and reading diary/journal! Have fun filling it up!
