Goal Setting for 2016!



Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ New Year Resolution Help Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ


Yay! It's time for some goal setting stuff! Now, although the eBook is for your New Year Resolutions, you may use it all year or, really, anytime you're setting any goals for yourself. The worksheets that accompany the instructions do have the title My New Year Resolutions (there's no date on them), you can use them whenever you like. Download the Complimentary Instructions and Worksheet Set here.  We always talk about goals at the beginning of the year, it's great to set them all year long. You can use these exercises for things that you want to accomplish in a week, 3 months or 5 years. It's completely up to you. Just follow the rules (to the best of your ability) and have fun!

Now, onto all of the goal setting fun! Remember, you can do these all year long. The New Year is a fun time to get your head right and have positive expectations for everything that's coming. Enjoy! 


Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Simple Goal Setting Rules Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ




Really think about the goals that you want to accomplish. Spend more time contemplating

them than writing them out. Think about them first. You may even want to do a few rough drafts before you set them. Think of setting your goals as something that is being 'set in stone' in your mind. Your mind takes your goal setting very seriously. (And Literally.) Take your time with this part. There's no rush. Enjoy the process of imaging what your life will be like once you achieve them. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ A good way to tell if you are on track is if you feel excited, motivated or invigorated thinking about your goals. If you feel icky or anxious, rethink what you want to create and why. 



Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Simple Writing Reminders Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ


These are, just simply, good 'rules' to follow when you're doing any goal setting. They will keep you organized, on track and will be incredibly helpful (if you follow them) when you go back to revisit your journal entries and check your goal lists. And, by the way, you always want to revisit them.  Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Try to find a day and time to go back over everything you're creating. Be honest with yourself about your schedule and routine. Whether you do it once a week, once a month or once a year, set  a reminder and Do It. Consistently.   


Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ  Balanced Goal Setting  Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ



This is a great way to make sure you are living

a balanced life. If you set your goals into different categories, you're sure to notice
anytime you start to get out of whack or side tracked. You'll always be able to tell (right away) if one aspect of your life is dominating the others or if some people or things are taking up too much of your time and energy. Setting your goals for every aspect of your life is one of the kindest and most considerate things you can do for yourself. 




Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Keep Yourself Going! Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ



Goal setting is the fun and easy part~the tough part is to keep yourself going, or it used to be. ;)  The key here is to find ways to keep yourself as excited, if not more than, when you set them in the first place. Do whatever it takes to keep yourself motivated. You may like affirmations, reading them over and over to yourself or setting little Good Job! rewards or surprises for you when you hit a certain mark in your goals. You may want to reward yourself every few weeks or months or when you've accomplished a certain amount [of your goal].  Really, this works wonders. Who doesn't like being congratulated?!

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ  You Can Do It!  Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ



Now, above all, remember that You Can Do It. No, really. If you can think it, you can create it. Now, just remember, some

things will or can take longer or more effort than others, but whatever it is ~ You Can Do It. Keep at it. You Are Worth It. Oh, and, Have Fun!

Letting Go of the Old and Welcoming the New

Be sure to write the date and time that you are doing your  manifesting. All of the memes have the instructions on them. Everyone asks, "Do they work?" Well, that's what the 24 free trial is for. Check it out for yourself. Everyone always has an opinion and advice (about everything), but there's nothing like the experience of discovering and figuring something out for yourself, no matter how big or small. You know you. You're the one who knows what you want and what you need and you are the one who knows what you like. It's great to get input from other people (especially those you trust/are in your inner circle) but 
remember, that's what it is. Always ask your Higher Self what is to your Highest Good. You'll get the guidance and answers you need. 
And, remember you can ask about anything. Really, anything. Speaking of asking your Higher Self for help, that's your homework over the next few weeks. Even if you're loving life right now, get into the habit of asking your Higher Self what is to your Highest Good. There's a lot of manifesting and goal setting coming up over the next few months and best way to prepare is to get in the habit of checking in with yourself! 
Letting Go of the Old and Welcoming in the New! Exercises and Ideas

Some people absolutely love the new year, setting goals and
resolutions, throwing out the old and getting ready for the
new, while others have a harder time. This entry is for those of you geared up and ready to go, everyone who is kicking and screaming, anyone who is dragging their feet and just about everyone in between. Because we are all different, pick and choose which exercises, downloads and assignments fit you (and where you want to be). And, above all, enjoy this part. No pressure. It's created to be motivating and fun. Always remember why you wanted your goals in the first place. You can do it! 



You Time: You want to carve out some alone time or your own personal time-out time and space (you want to have a place that you can get away~even if only for a few moments).  It's awfully easy to get overwhelmed when you have a huge list of to-dos, there's a ton of things going on and a thousand people all needing something from you~all at the same time. 
Know Yourself: Yes, No & Maybe~Saying what you mean! And only committing to what you really want to do will make a tremendous difference in your life. This isn't something that you're expected to change overnight. This is something that you aspire to perfect. The more you say yes, no or maybe (whatever your challenge is: over-committing, never committing, indecision) in accordance to what you really want, like and feel is right for you, the easier it will become and the clearer it will be to you of how you want to spend your time. Let this part be super fun! You're stretching, growing and learning about yourself. Woo-Hoo! 

Set your Intention for the Day: This doesn't have to
be some long drawn out thing, just simply decide what you want your day to be like and spend 30 seconds picturing it. Work up to 3 minutes. You'll be amazed to find how that 3 minutes in the morning changes your whole day! You can do this as many times as you like or need to throughout the day. Remember, you're reminding your subconscious mind that this [what you are picturing] is what you want now. You're Lighting your own Way & Creating your Day! 

Being who you want to be: Yay! Releasing lists and letters help you to focus on what you're not going to focus or fixate on [anymore]. They help you fine-tune your goals and get your mind set in the direction that you want to be going. They are a great habit to get into. You can use them for everything from people and relationships to physical things. Try them! You may be pleasantly surprised how much they sooth your emotions and improve your thinking.  

Although it's past New Year's Eve, I wanted to include this
exercise. It will work for anything/time that you do it. Plus,
it's not that far into January, do the letter now. Spend some time on it~ really think about what was great about last year. Enjoy reliving those moments in your mind. When you're done, release them completely and set your intention [your mind-frame] to having 2016 be even better. 

It may take a couple of times and some really rough drafts to feel like you've gotten the hang of some of these exercises. Keep at them! It's worth it. You are worth it. And, getting your goals and creating the life you want, that is definitely worth it!
