Relax. Be Happy. Enjoy your Life!


This month it's about relaxing, being happy and enjoying your life. Happy August!

One of the best ways to quiet your mind, create what you want and get answers from yourself is to do something that keeps your hands busy, conscious mind focused and still allows some drifty time. Word Search Books are fabulous for this, crafts of all types and, of course, coloring books and activity pages. In order to really be happy and enjoy your life, you've got to get the messages your Spirit and Body is bringing you. Save this blog entry. Keep doing these exercises regularly. They are so valuable and important. Many of the downloads in all of the packages will have something to do with what you're working on here. Your inner levels are always communicating you. When you're in clear communication with all levels of self, the only thing left to do is be happy. 

So, what does taking care of your body have to do with
psychic stuff? Simple: Spirit works through your brain. In other words, you're only going to get the messages as clearly as the health of your brain. Now, lets say you've got a healthy brain but your body is uncomfortable. Well, then all you're going to be hearing is your body trying to tell you what's wrong with him or her. It is going to trump all the other messages you are receiving. The healthier you keep your body, the easier it will be for you to hear 'other' psychic messages. 
Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Keeping your body healthy means eating right, getting regular exercise, drinking plenty of water and sleeping well. It's really about balance. If you're out of balance with your body, you're out of balance with Nature and it'll toss you out of balance with Spirit. Now, everyone's body is different. Really, completely different. The diet your body needs, the amount of sleep (and schedule) and the types of exercise it likes. Your job is to figure out what your body want and needs from you. Journaling Exercise: 
Once a day, sit with your pen and journal and quietly ask yourself, "What do I need today?" Write down your answer. It may be something about your physical being other times it will be about some aspect of your life.
Shopping Exercise: The next time you're at the grocery store, ask yourself, "What is good for my body?" If you already have
a solid relationship with yourself, starting asking body [directly] what foods it needs to stay healthy. Ask yourself in your mind. All parts of you are always listening. Okay, now that you're getting your body stuff on track, what about the emotional stuff? Your emotions are messengers. They let you know when something is going on inside of you. Each time something 'comes' up for you, grab your journal. 
Journling Exercise: Ask yourself, "What is this feeling trying to tell me?" If you get something like "I'm Afraid." Then ask yourself what you're afraid of or why. You'll be taking notes and dialoging with yourself. I cannot stress enough the value and importance of self-soothing and communication. 
Having a good rapport with yourself is rewarding and fun!
It's going to be constant in your life (and, you'll start to enjoy depending on you) because you are the only one that can truly sooth you. Your emotions are messengers~ they are bringing you the message. Once you learn to chat with yourself, you'll notice you feel better all of the time, life is easier, you are more comfortable and confident. You really are your best support system. 
Let's Get Creative! Taking time for yourself is so very, very important. Spending that quiet, relaxed time contemplating lovely things may just be what you need. Try it. Taking a Break is Healthy! You may find that the messages are simply to have a time-out or to take a break. (So Important!)  Just stepping away from the world for thirty minutes can change everything. Whatever your messages are, write them down and take them seriously. Never ignore the inner parts of you or what they are saying. If you can't quite understand what the message is, don't fret. Keep asking yourself, you'll get the answer. 
 Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ And, of course, the last piece of the balance and happy communication with yourself is who you surround yourself with.  Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

Journaling Exercise: Make a list of all of the people you are

around on a regular basis (leave room for notes). Go through your list and write out a bit about each person and how you feel: 
~ Before you see them.
~ When you're with them
~ And after you leave them. 
Go through everything [later], be honest with yourself, and start thinking about the changes you need to make. For example: See the ones that make you feel happy more and the ones that make you feel icky, less. :) You'll be amazed to find how everything falls into place once you start becoming aware of how people affect you and you make a conscious effort to change it.

Yay! It's Leap Year!


How fabulous! There's a whole extra day this year! Let's set some goals, do some journaling and get those manifestations going for the next four years! Woo-Hoo! 

How exciting! This is a great way to set some very specific goals because it is such a unique time. February 29th only comes along once every four years. Let's use it to your manifesting advantage!


Be sure you have your journal handy for this post. It's a lot of fun and many of the exercises are easy. They are well worth putting in the 5-10 minutes per exercise to create what you want. If you're not doing them on Leap Day, be sure to date each and every journal entry and exercise. You may want to write the time in. Wishes! 
Just because all wishes are fun! Make a wish this Leap Day. Write it down in your journal. (Exactly how you wished it.) Be sure to put in the time and place (where you are when you're making your Leap Day Wish). The Catch: Make it for fours years from today. To have it come true on the next Leap Day. OMGosh! SO FUN!

Presents! 
Yes. You are special. This year celebrate it. Send yourself flowers. This. Leap. Year. Day. Seriously. Do something that gets brought to you (by someone else!) this Leap Year Day.
So Fun! If you're a dude and don't want flowers, find yourself something cool that you can give yourself every four years. This goes for if you're an anti-flower person. Do a bit of research~find a company that you like and something that you are going to appreciate~but not so cool that you'll think about it until next Leap Year. You want it just fabulous enough that you are surprised and excited when you get it next Leap Year Day!

Letters!
This is great! Write a letter to your Future Self. Ack! How interesting will it be to read this letter four years from today. 
Think about this one awhile before you start it. Really think about it. How handy would it have been if your future self could have written letters to you to prepare for the future? This exercise is just as valuable. You're going to be reminding yourself of _______. How Fun! 


Pleasant Dreams! 
What a great way to end your day. Plus, it sets you up for the next four years! Drifting off to sleep thinking about how amazing the next four years are going to be sets it in your mind as an expectation (something for your subconscious mind to do). And, doing it as you fall asleep, you're in an altered state~that's how you reach your subconscious mind. You have so many things working in your favor. Try it. You just may be surprised by your results! 



* Your subconscious mind is the part of your mind that predicts and creates your future. It is also the time keeping part of mind. Make this Leap Day Memorable~from morning to end and be excited about it. Your mind will [automatically] try to make it better next Leap Day. The key to this is the emotions that you have (make them good), your focus and something fun happening (like the sending flowers). Plus, you're making a Leap Day Wish this year so your mind is already fixated on something exciting and hopeful for next Leap Day. And, it has already started working on making your wish come true! Ack. The Mind is so cool. Use it! You'll be amazed to find how magickal your life becomes. Happy Manifesting! * If you're going to set a goal for this year, make it a journaling goal. Writing does so much for you. You'll be amazed by how much faster your psychic abilities grow, how much easier it is to create what you want and how easy it is for you to figure things out yourself. It's so incredibly valuable. Really, one goal... make it journaling :)

An Attitude of Gratitude

A Month of Gratitude
Have you been doing your daily 'What I'm Thankful For' this month?  If you have, you're ahead of this exercise! If you haven't, no worries. You can start today! You may want to get some scratch paper to jot your list down on. Be sure it's big enough for everything or have a couple of sheets available. You'll be listing 30 different 'things' you're grateful for. (There's 30 days in November.) Try to get a variety of things that you're grateful for in your life. You're going to want to cover: Mental, Emotional, Physical (your body), Spiritual, Material (things), and Financial (money stuff) for yourself and then, of course, all the people and animals in your life... You could add Social, Recreational, Your Work and/or School and anything else you can think of. You could even start a separate list of categories of things you're going to write about being thankful for. (The organizing is completely up to you, these are just ideas. think 'balanced' when you're doing this and you should be able to cover all aspects and areas of your life pretty easily.)  Contemplate what you're writing down. This isn't meant to be done in five minutes. This is a contemplative exercise that you're going to want to put some time and effort into. (Hence the scratch paper, you'll be making a Gratitude Journal and there's a link for free Gratitude Journal pages for you to print out.) After you have the wording that you want, transcribe your list into your Gratitude Journal. Be sure to date it! 
Take your time with this. Remember, this is usually an exercise that you do for the entire month! Enjoy this exercise. You're looking over and reviewing your life. That in itself is something you could put down... That you have the time, the space, the will and the ability to do this exercise.

This year send out Gratitude cards! You can use them with or instead of Holiday Cards or/and add a 'Thank You' and/or a 'Why I appreciate You' in your cards that you send out this year. You can also add it to your emails and/or gifts. 
Being grateful is a wonderful habit to get into! You'll be surprised how compliments and feelings of appreciation begin to to pour out of you once you begin to focus on everything you love in your life. you'll naturally become more positive and secure; those are some of the side effects of focusing on what you already have instead of what you want. And, what a fabulous way to start... telling everyone in your life how much you appreciate them! Holiday cards are a great way to communicate your adoration; you're sending them out anyway! If you're not doing cards or gifts... You can always call them! If you're not used to expressing yourself in this way, make a little list or notes to yourself before you talk to them. If you're uncomfortable, rehearse it. You can practice in your mind, with another person or by looking in the mirror or saying it out loud. Oh, and smile when you're doing it. Really. Practice talking with a smile. It will make a difference! If you're a social media person, find pictures, quotes (or think up your own!) that talk about gratitude and how thankful you are. You may be surprised by how many people respond to your positive postings, tweets, statuses and pins! Spread the Joy! 
Craft Time!
Make a Thank You Journal with a Gratitude Collage Cover! How fun! There's so many ways that you could do this. 
The Inside:You can decorate a notebook, get a journal and decorate the cover, you can make the cover and print the pages from the Free Gratitude Journal for Kids and insert them into a three ring binder or go to a store and have the book bound for you. You have so many options. Pick one that fits you and you like... Be sure it's something that you are going to like using and writing in regularly. Be conscious of the size, shape and binding. you want to make this as convenient for yourself as possible. 
The Cover~you can draw, paint or write on it. You can decorate it anyway that you like. You can cut out pictures and glue or tape them on. You can seal it with glue, laminate it, use spray so that it doesn't smear. It's completely up to you how you'd like to protect it. Practice first. If it's pictures you're using, line them up before you stick them on permanently. If you're drawing or painting, do some rough drafts. And there's everything you can do on the computer! You could even make a collage online and print it out. 
This is a gratitude collage. It's things, people and moments that you have or have already had. This isn't a create what you want exercise, it's an I appreciate my life, as it is, right now exercise. 
The Substance: Here's the content section. You may want to set some goals about how often you're going to use your journal; the only thing you really should do is date the entries, other than that, it's anything thing goes and anyway you want to do it! This is your journal about what you appreciate in your life. The entries should reflect what you are grateful for. (Try to keep everyone else's voices out of your head while you're journaling, writing and crafting. Tune into you and where and why you feel grateful, blessed, loved, that deep sense of appreciation.) Need ideas about your entries? You can add your exercise of A Month of Gratitude. you can write about wonderful moments in time that you are thankful for. You can put in your accomplishments and challenges you have overcome. You can write about how lovely the weather is and how blessed you are to be alive. You can even meditate on gratitude and write about your experiences. you may find that each and every meditation is different!
What Now? You enjoy it! And, you did it! Congratulations! That's it. It's that simple and easy! You can vary this anyway you like. You could turn this into a family project night, do it with your partner or by yourself. You can change it up, fill it up and make a new one in a week or next year. If you set the same time each day or each week to write in your journal you'll find that contemplating and focusing on what you appreciate in your life will quickly become a habit; you're welcoming in and training yourself to have an attitude of gratitude. 


Gratitude isn't just about accepting, receiving or acknowledging and appreciating what you have, it's also about Giving. When you are centered in deep appreciation for yourself, your life and those around you, it opens you to have the inner space to be able to give back, contribute to society and help those around you. What's your contribution to the world? How can you be of service? How can you spread more love and joy? This would be a great meditation and a good journal entry, even if you made a list of ideas or goals that you'd like to do. How could you spread this feeling (gratitude) to others?
